Degrees and Programs Offered

The NLU develops interdisciplinary curricula to provide students with the most flexible study programs. The academic year is divided into two semesters: The first or fall semester starts from September to January and the second or spring semester starts from February to July. Each semester is approximately 18 weeks long.

The NLU offers Master and Ph. D. programs in Crop Science, Pedology and Soil Chemistry, Plant Protection, Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Silviculture, Aquaculture, Agricultural Engineering and Technology, and Agricultural Economics. Normally, it takes from 2 to 3 years to obtain the M.Sc. after the B.Sc., and 3 years to obtain the Doctorate after the M.Sc. degree.
